There is no list currently. You would want to work with your Regional Intake Director or the National Intake Office to determine whether such a request qualifies and whether the certification will be accepted.

What I tell my Region is – if you have to go through educational sessions/classes and be tested on your proficiency of the knowledge to recieve a certification or license, it qualifies. We also have to think about those things within reason as well. CDL is fine.

Thank you for your reply to my question but the answer only causes conflict.

If we don’t have a list then brothers are left to someone else’s interpretation of what is acceptable.

case in point you just said that in your region CDL is acceptable but in my region I was told it’s not, we are not all on the same page.

I don’t disagree with you; that is why we are putting something together. Once a full list is put together, it will be sent out to the brotherhood. If you disagree with your Regional Leaderships decision, feel free to elevate it to the National Intake Office by contacting me and/or Bro. Leon Coleman. Otherwise, adhere to your Regional Leadership’s guidance.
